Students had a great beginning to their second semester as both school and student councils held a pancake breakfast for the students and staff. Donations were accepted for the Berard family.

This past weekend our boys’ and girls’ curling teams competed in the Gore Regionals. Both teams won their first two games but lost in the finals. They will continue this week in the SD&G division.

Junior and senior boys’ basketball teams played against CharLan at North Dundas. This was the last game of the season, and the boys played their hardest with hopes that they would make it to the playoffs next month.

Ours girls’ hockey team played on Monday, Feb. 5, in CharLan, and our boys team played yesterday, Feb.6, at CharLan. The boys and girls teams both won one game and lost the other.

Remember there is only one week and counting until Valentine’s day. Make sure to buy that special someone a gift soon.
