WINCHESTER — In a follow-up to their hugely successful launch in 2017, the North Dundas Chamber of Commerce and the Township of North Dundas are partnering again to present the 2nd Annual Local Business Expo this spring.

Members of the Chamber were notified last week that registration has opened for the Saturday, April 28 event at the Arena/Joel Steele Community Centre.

All registration and payment is being handled online at northdundasexpo.eventzilla.net/web/event, with Chamber members receiving a discounted rate for arena floor booths.

The involved organizations advise that the arena floor is available to store-based businesses, while direct sales may book a booth in the Marketplace section upstairs in the Community Centre — the same policy that applied last year. But in a slight change from 2017, participating businesses will be grouped together by sector this year — including retail, bridal and services sections, among others.

The Chamber‘s new Administrative Co-ordinator Mary Tessier is teaming up with the township’s Economic Development and Communications Officer Stephen Mann to work directly with vendors in preparation for the big event.

Those preparations have begun to pick up steam just as the Chamber is on the verge of its Annual General Meeting, being hosted Wednesday at the IDP Group’s former Nestlé factory in Chesterville.

The involved organizations behind the coming Local Business Expo have also released a new poster promoting the 2018 edition.
