NDDHS held annual winter carnival, Dundas Cup date and arena announced

The North Dundas girl’s hockey team played some amazing games on Thursday, Feb. 15 in Long Sault, and they have qualified for the playoffs. The boys team played in Long Sault yesterday, after a long weekend, in hopes to follow the girls to the playoffs in the next couple weeks.

The intermediate students had fun in the snow on Friday, Feb. 16 as the staff and some students from grades 9 to 12 hosted the annual winter carnival.

It is the time of year again for the legendary Dundas Cup. Tickets went on sale yesterday, for all North Dundas students. Tickets are $2 each and will be on sale until Feb. 28. Dundas Cup is being held at the Chesterville arena this year and is taking place on March 2.

North Dundas is helping their local Leo’s club by collecting donations for their mission trip to St. Kitts in May. They will be collecting school supplies and personal hygiene products until Feb. 28. Donations can be dropped off at the main office or sent in with a current student.

Our curling teams competed in Cornwall at EOSSA yesterday, Feb. 20, and they will continue to play today. If they win, they will move on to OFSSA at the end of March. Best of luck to them today.

Don’t forget there is just over two weeks until March break starts.
