Plant the seeds for success at the NG Rural Summit

Interested in starting or growing an agricultural business?

The NG Rural Summit is your opportunity to learn, share and network with local farmers, business owners and related industry professionals. The one-day summit will feature workshops, a moderated panel discussion and a catered farm-to-table lunch of local foods. You’ll walk away with fresh, practical ideas and tools that you can use right away.

Just some of the topics that may be discussed include:

  • How to start a home-based agri-business
  • Business planning
  • Funding and other support
  • Starting a livestock operation
  • Innovations in small-scale farming
  • Increasing garden productivity
  • Multiple income streams

From kitchen gardens to livestock operations to small-scale farms, local agriculture makes a big contribution to the local economy. Our job is to help you get the information you need to build a business that will support you and your family.

Conveniently located on Highway 416, Kemptville is just a 30-minute drive from both Ottawa and Brockville. We are looking forward to meeting with participants from all around Eastern Ontario!
