Copper wire, fittings and electrical wire removed from a business in North Glengarry; man charged for uttering threats

BREAK IN

NORTH GLENGARRY — SD&G OPP officers responded to a report of a break-in shortly after 6 a.m. on March 15 at a business on Laggan Glenelg Road, North Glengarry.

An investigation indicated that sometime overnight March 14-15 culprit(s) entered a garage and removed copper wire, fittings and electrical wire.    

THREATS

NORTH GLENGARRY — SD&G OPP officers responded to a report of a threatening incident on March 13 at a residence shortly after 10 a.m. on Glen Robertson Main Street, North Glengarry. Investigation indicated that an adult male threatened a family member at the location.

Normand Lacombe, 57, North Glengarry, was arrested and is charged with two counts of uttering threats.

He was held in custody pending a bail hearing in Cornwall court.
