WINCHESTER — In another sign of spring’s arrival, Main Street Clothing Company rolled out its spring fashions on Thursday, March 22.

Spring 2018 is characterized by “lots of florals, lots of patterns,” said proprietor Lisa Williams at the Winchester shop’s ‘Celebrate Spring’ Open House event, which buzzed with clients perusing racks of clothing.

It was the local retailer’s third annual occasion marking the end of winter — but the first at Main Street Clothing Company’s newly added location at 513 Main St. West.

Williams bought the former Annable’s Jewellery site last year, shifting women’s clothing and accessories out of her original 506 Main St. West location, now specializing in men’s and children’s lines.

The event also featured delectable treats made by Williams’ sister — Jo-Ann Houle — who operates Cup of Jo’s next door.
