OTTAWA — The Ottawa Police Service says a man involved in alleged sexual offences has been identified and charged. The city’s police force had sought the public’s help with case, releasing a photo of the suspect earlier today.

Police say he is Mohamad El-Husseini, 37, of Ottawa.  He’s been charged with four counts of sexual assault and is scheduled to appear in court tomorrow.

The investigation from Central Criminal Investigations continues.

Between March 2017 and March 2018, a man entered OC Transpo buses and sat beside young adult women, on more than five occasions. It is alleged that he touched the women inappropriately by either brushing their leg or touching their thigh with his hands, and/or touching their foot with his feet.
