North Dundas Demons Atom B squad place second in league championship final

In Chesterville on Saturday, this Atom B Demons squad placed second to Leeds in the championship.

CHESTERVILLE — The parking lot was full at the Chesterville Arena on Saturday as the North Dundas Demons hosted a hockey tournament.

The Demons Atom B team just missed out on the league championship, losing 2-1 to the Leeds Chargers in overtime during the fifth game of a five-game series. The final maintained the tight competition of the series, with every game in the lead-up to the final contest in Chesterville ending in a tie.

The Novice C House championship was similarly decided in the fifth game of a five-game series. Those Demons came out on top, beating their counterparts from South Dundas 1-0.
