SD&G — Cold temperatures and a wintery forecast have thrown a curveball into a couple of the region’s early-spring activities.

The Raisin Region Conservation Authority announced yesterday that its annual canoe race won’t go ahead today. It’s now postponed until April 22.

Meanwhile, in Chesterville, local Rotarians won’t be dunking their collection of rubber duckies into the South Nation River this afternoon due to the inclement weather. The Club will instead perform a draw to determine the winners.
