Ice rain triggers 11th ‘snow day’ of the school year — on April 16

EASTERN ONTARIO — Thanks to this mid-April ice storm, the school buses aren’t running today.

Student Transportation of Eastern Ontario has cancelled routes this morning (April 16). It’s the 11th time this school year — and the first time this spring — that STEO has pulled the buses because of risky roads due to inclement weather.

Schools remain open.

STEO last cancelled school bus transportation on March 7.
