WINCHESTER — The Winchester District Memorial Hospital (WDMH) volunteers were honoured at the annual Volunteer Appreciation Luncheon held at the Chesterville Legion on April 18.
And the accolades were well-deserved! For 70 years, the Auxiliary has been supporting patients, staff and our community, lending a helping hand wherever needed. In fact, our volunteers donated 13,000 hours of time in 2017.
The luncheon included a wonderful Italian buffet, as well as entertainment provided by CEO Cholly Boland, CIO Sean O’Brien and Engineer Brian McAulay.
At the event, several volunteers were recognized for milestone anniversaries:
30 years – Elinor Jordan
25 years – Margaret Countryman
