Autistic man goes missing from Highway 401 rest stop

Update: Police report that he’s been found.

SOUTH GLENGARRY — The public’s help is sought in locating an autistic man who went missing from the Highway 401 Enroute Rest Stop at Bainsville this morning.

Duane Montague, 31, responds to the name ‘Omar,’ according to the SD&G OPP.

He is described as black, 5’6″ tall, weighs 150 pounds and has dark hair. He was wearing a blue jacket with white hat and white running shoes.

He was reported missing at just after 8 a.m.

Update: Police report that Montague was located in good health, over the Quebec border, and will be returned to family members. The Surete du Quebec found him at 11:45 a.m.
