NORTH DUNDAS — An entire community is saddened after learning about the loss of long-time North Dundas Township Building Inspector and Chief Building Official Greg Trizisky, who suffered a fatal heart attack Sunday evening.

The Morrisburg resident leaves behind his wife, Fiona, and four children. He will be truly missed by many, including his co-workers at the township office, where flags are flying at half-staff today.

Nation Valley News expresses our deepest condolences to all of his family, friends and colleagues.

Trizisky has worked for the township for over 15 years.

“Greg was a great colleague to work with: smart, hardworking, and cared about what he did,” Mayor Eric Duncan said in a statement.
“He will be sorely missed in our office. He always had everyone laughing in the lunch room and was well liked and respected by his colleagues. There will be big shoes to fill in our team, both personally and professionally.”
