AVONMORE — Stormont-Dundas-South Glengarry candidates in the provincial election will meet again tomorrow evening (Friday, June 1) in Avonmore.
Incumbent Progressive Conservative Jim McDonell, Liberal Heather Megill, the NDP’s Marc Benoit, the Green Party’s Elaine Kennedy and Libertarian Sabile Trimm will debate the issues 7 :30 to 10 p.m. at North Stormont Place.
The event is jointly hosted by the Dundas and Stormont federations of agriculture and is one of a series of all-candidate meetings organized by various groups in the riding this election. The Dundas Federation of Agriculture similarly partnered with the North Dundas Chamber of Commerce on a debate held earlier during the campaign, in Winchester.
Ontarians head to the polls June 7.
