Domestic assault in N. Dundas; stolen truck in S. Stormont

NORTH DUNDAS — An Ottawa man was arrested June 15 at a reported domestic situation in North Dundas.

SD&G OPP officers responded to the address at just after 6:50 p.m. and concluded the 36-year-old man had assaulted his girlfriend on multiple occasions.

Charged with Forcible Detainer plus two counts of Assault, he was released to appear July 3 in Cornwall court.

 

Impaired charges in South Dundas

SOUTH DUNDAS — A collision with a parked car in the wee hours of the morning led to the arrest of a South Dundas man for impaired driving.

SD&G OPP officers responded to the June 17 incident on County Rd. 16 at just after 1:35 a.m.

Police say that Matthew Dillabough, 32, is charged with impaired driving and driving with a blood alcohol level above .08 percent.

He was released to appear July 3 in Cornwall court.

 

Stolen Truck

SOUTH STORMONT — A 2005 White GMC Silverado EXT short box truck was stolen from a Groves Rd. residence sometime overnight, June 16-17.

The SD&G OPP report the truck’s Ontario licence plate as AK54605.

 

Impaired charges on Highway 401

SOUTH DUNDAS — A single-vehicle collision June 17 on Highway 401 led to the arrest of an Ottawa man for impaired driving.

The SD&G OPP responded to the scene around 4:50 p.m.

The detachment reports that Nicholas Lebrun, 42, of Ottawa was released to appear July 3 in Cornwall court on charges of impaired driving and driving with a blood-alcohol level above .08 percent.
