SD&G — SD&G OPP are investigating several incidents after responding to 146 calls for service from Friday, July 6 to Monday, July 9.
Among these occurrences, SD&G OPP responded to:

– 25 traffic complaints
– 9 Traffic enforcement occurrences
– 8 RIDE Programs
– 1 Fraud related calls
– 2 Domestic dispute
– 2 Assault calls
– 1 Mischief calls
– 5 theft calls
– 3 alarm calls
– 1 Break and enter call
– 1 Impaired driving occurrences
– 1 harassment calls
– 1 mental health calls
– 2 Drug Offence calls
– 2 Family Dispute calls
– 3 Neighbour Dispute calls
Impaired Driver
WINCHESTER — During a general patrol on July 8, shortly after 12 a.m on Nesbitt Rd in North Dundas an officer observed a pick-up truck driving erratically. The investigation revealed that the adult male driver was under the influence of alcohol.
Dylan Marshall, 22, of North Dundas, was arrested and is charged with;
– Driving a Motor Vehicle with over 80 Milligrams of Alcohol in blood
– Driving a Motor Vehicle while Impaired
He was released and is scheduled to appear in Morrisburg court on August 7.
Super Speeders
SD&G — SD&G OPP officers conducted speed measuring enforcement on July 8 and 9 in SD&G and intercepted the following vehicles for traveling at excessive speeds. The vehicles were impounded and the driver’s permit seized for seven days in accordance to policy.
SOUTH STORMONT — A vehicle was stopped on July 8 travelling 167km/h in a 100km/h zone on Highway 401. The 45-year-old male driver from Quebec was charged with Stunt Driving (Highway Traffic Act).
SOUTH GLENGARRY — A vehicle was stopped on July 9 travelling 152km/h in a 100km/h zone on Highway 401. A 27-year-old male driver from Laval, was charged with Stunt Driving (Highway Traffic Act).
SOUTH DUNDAS — A vehicle was stopped on July 9 travelling 166km/h in a 100km/h zone on Highway 401. A male driver, 34, from Quebec was charged with Stunt Driving (Highway Traffic Act).
