Public assistance needed by police after serious assaults occurred at Farmer John’s Summer Party, July 29

SERIOUS ASSAULTS

CHESTERVILLE —  SD&G OPP responded to a report of a large fight, shortly after 4 a.m. on July 29 at Farmer John’s Summer Party on Forward Road, Chesterville.

Police are conducting a criminal investigation into multiple assaults where a male and female victim received serious facial injuries by unknown suspects.

SD&G OPP are looking for information regarding the assaults and are seeking any video footage that party goers may have filmed.

DAMAGED AND STOLEN MAILBOXES

CHESTERVILLE —  Shortly before 8 a.m. on July 29, a complaint was made to an SD&G OPP officer regarding a theft of a mailbox on Forward Road, Chesterville. Investigation revealed that several mailboxes along Forward Road where damaged or removed by unknown suspects.

An investigation continues.

 

SEXUAL ASSAULT

CHESTERVILLE —  A female reported being sexually assaulted by a unknown male to police on July 29 shortly before 2 p.m. on Forward Road.

Investigation is ongoing.

 

ASSAULT WITH WEAPON

NORTH DUNDAS — An altercation occurred between a female and an adult male (boyfriend) shortly after 5 a.m. on July 29. The accused female struck the victim with a weapon.

A 32-year-old female of North Dundas, was arrested and is charged with;

–            Assault with a weapon

–            Assault

–            Forcible confinement

She was released and is scheduled to appear in Cornwall court on August 21.
