With the first few weeks over, the weeks to come are pack full of fun events and opportunities.

The Junior and Senior Girls basketball teams had their first tryout last Wed., Sept., 12. The Senior Boys volleyball team also had tryout on Wednesday, as well as Thursday last week. Junior Boys volleyball were the first team to begin tryouts, with the first one on Tues., Sept. 11, and another on Thurs., Sept. 13. Golf also began last week, with a meeting held last Wednesday, in preparation for their tournament, which took place yesterday, Tues., Sept. 18. Congratulations to all of the golfers!

North Dundas’s first spirit day is to be held on this Fri., Sept. 21. It’s house colour day, and students can find out which colour their grade is by posters in the hallways, or on our Instagram page: nddhs_sc1819. Students and parents can follow the account to see upcoming events, or pictures of activities we had.

Students received their pictures on Thursday. If you want retakes or you missed the original photo day, retake day is on Fri., Oct. 12.

Finally, North Dundas is hosting a Terry Fox Walk on Thursday of next week (Sept. 27). It is for an important cause, so we ask all students to grab a pledge form at lunch time. A table will set up at grade 9-12 lunch, as well as 7/8 lunch. There is a minimum pledge of $10 to participate in the walk. We are looking forward to see all of the students and staff walking for a good cause.
