Quality Deer Management Association launched in Rideau-St. Lawrence

Banquet participants pose in Charleville.

CHARLEVILLE — Seventy-two deer-hunting enthusiasts gathered here for the inaugural banquet of the Quality Deer Management Association’s new Rideau-St. Lawrence chapter.

Similar to Ducks Unlimited — but focused on maintaining a healthy white-tailed deer population  — President Keith Fowler says the new group covers a territory from Westport east to the Quebec border.

The banquet took place inside the Grenville County ATV Club facility in Charleville.
