OCPA Plowing Fore A Cure presents cheques to local hospitals

OTTAWA VALLEY — The Ottawa Carleton Plowmen’s Association (OCPA) presented cheques for $8,750 to the Kemptville District Hospital Foundation (KDHF) and the Winchester District Memorial Hospital Foundation (WDMHF).

The funds were raised at OCPA’s 15th Annual Plowing Fore A Cure golf tournament held on August 14, at Emerald Links Golf and Country Club in Greely.  

Kemptville Hospital plans to use the funds to purchase much needed Sapphire Multi Therapy Infusion Pain Pumps for their ICU while Winchester Hospital plans to purchase chemotherapy chairs for use in cancer patient care.
