Police requesting assistance to identify a male suspect of a sexual assault on Woodroffe Ave

Update:  

Brandon Radtke, 36-years-old, has been charged with:

*       Sexual Assault

*       Five counts of failure to comply with probation order x5

*       Possession of a Scheduled Substance

Radtke appeared in show cause court this past Saturday, October 27.

 

OTTAWA — On Sunday, October 14, Frontline officers attended the 1300 block of Woodroffe Avenue in regards to a sexual assault that occurred at approximately 3:40 a.m.

A female, in her 20s, who was asleep in a rest area/lounge was sexually assaulted by an unknown male. The male was caught by the building surveillance cameras walking in the hallways.  He was also seen coming from the nearby OC Transpo Bus Station (see pictures).

Investigators are asking for public assistance in identifying this male suspect.

He is described as a Caucasian male, in his late 20s early 30s, with a slim fit build. He was wearing an orange baseball cap with a small black logo in front, dark jacket, and light blue jeans and also wearing a white t-shirt.

Update: Ottawa Police would like to thank the public for their assistance. They are no longer seeking public help in identifying the male.
