October skies; nature’s palette

Nation Valley News snapped the photo above showing a near full moon as it appeared in the early daylight before 8 a.m. this morning. The actual full moon was two days ago, a celestial sight presiding over the ongoing fall harvest in rural Eastern Ontario.

Earlier in October, Kristie Barkley Billings captured video footage (below) of a spectacular autumn sky at dawn, Oct. 15 over North Dundas.
