Super speeders in N. Stormont & breach of conditions in N. Dundas

Super Speeders

NORTH STORMONT — While conducting a speed measuring enforcement in North Stormont, SD&G OPP and intercepted the following vehicles for traveling at excessive speeds on October 31. The vehicles were impounded and the driver’s permits seized for seven days in accordance to policy and were all charged with Stunt Driving (Highway Traffic Act).

SD&G OPP stopped the following vehicles at the same time;

NORTH STORMONT — An 18-year-old male from Cornwall was stopped traveling 140km/h in an 80km/h zone (Highway 138).

NORTH STORMONT — A 20-year-old male from Cornwall was stopped traveling 140km/h (80km/h zone)(Highway 138).

Breach of Conditions

NORTH DUNDAS — On October 31, at approximately 10:56 p.m., SD&G OPP officers responded to a report of a domestic disturbance in North Dundas. Their investigation indicated a male was in contravention of previous release conditions.

A 37-year-old male of Ottawa, was arrested and is charged with;

– failure to comply with an undertaking

He was held in custody pending a bail hearing in Cornwall court.
