Drive-by ‘airsoft’ pistol shots fired at Clarence-Rockland joggers

CLARENCE-ROCKLAND — Rockland OPP say they’ve received a complaint about a random drive-by ‘Airsoft’ shooter targeting young joggers in Clarence-Rockland.

The Nov. 12 incident involved a blue Chrysler, carrying about four people, which was travelling southbound on Caron Street around 2 p.m., according to the detachment.

No one was injured by the beads fired from the gas-powered pistol.

Police are seeking the public’s help in identifying the vehicle and its occupants. They ask anyone with information to contact the Russell County OPP at 1-888-310-1122. Those wishing anonymity may contact Crime Stoppers at 1-800-310-1122 where they may be eligible for a cash reward.
