CHESTERVILLE — Santa’s world tour lands this Saturday morning in Chesterville, where the Rotary Club of Chesterville is set to host old St. Nick and the community. An annual tradition, the Club invites everyone to join them at the Chesterville Legion for Breakfast with Santa, Dec. 1.

The hearty scrambled-eggs breakfast includes toast, sausages, hash browns, and/or orange juice and coffee.

Take the time to visit with neighbours while your children are making a craft project thanks to Christ Church United.  They can pass on their wish list directly to Santa, too. Although breakfast gets underway at 8 a.m. and runs until 11, Santa’s official visit is scheduled 9 until 10:30 a.m. Be sure to pass along your wish lists to the Jolly Old Elf while he presides in his big chair at the front of the Legion Hall, then enjoy a cup of hot chocolate thanks to Leslie Johnson and the Dairy Farmers of Ontario.

Also Check out the Christmas cakes the Lion’s Club are selling and stock up on Yuletide treats at Christ Church United’s bake sale table. Come early as the church volunteers sell out quickly!

Start the Christmas season off with a leisurely breakfast, and as you leave thank the Legion members for donating the hall.

The Rotary Club of Chesterville’s Breakfast with Santa serves as a precursor to a day of festivities in North Dundas, with nearby Winchester hosting its annual Parade of Lights later that evening.
