OPS seeking public’s help to identify two suspects in Barrhaven bank robbery

OTTAWA —The Ottawa Police Service Robbery Unit is seeking the public’s assistance to identify two suspects responsible for a recent bank robbery.

Shortly after 1 p.m. on Wednesday, Oct., 17, two male suspects entered a bank situated along the 3600 block of Strandherd Dr. in the Barrhaven. The first suspect handed the teller a note demanding cash. The second suspect retreated and stood watch outside.

The first suspect is described as a black male, in his late teens wearing a black hooded sweatshirt.

The second suspect is also a black male and was wearing a grey winter jacket with dark pants.
