Armed robber with “very bright blue eyes” takes tobacco and cash from Iroquois store

SOUTH DUNDAS — Police are on the hunt for an armed robber with bright blue eyes who knocked off the Circle K convenience store in Iroquois yesterday.

The man entered the establishment with a weapon shortly after midnight, Dec. 12, demanding cash and cigarettes. He got away on foot with a quantity of money and tobacco products, before the arrival of SD&G OPP officers and the OPP Emergency Response Team.

Police describe the suspect as a caucasian male, 5’6″ to 5’8″ tall, approximately 180 lbs, with slim build and “very bright blue eyes.” He wore a black baseball cap, a white and black bandana, black pants and dark-coloured shoes. The detachment has released a still image recorded by a security camera at the store (top of article).

No injuries resulted from the robbery.
