Armed thug tries to rob Canada Post Employee on South Glengarry street

SOUTH GLENGARRY — A Canada Post worker was threatened with a weapon during an attempted armed robbery on the corner of Summerset Acres Rd. and Cty. Rd 2 in South Glengarry on December 27 shortly before 2 p.m.

Police Investigation indicated one male suspect approached the victim, brandished an edge weapon and stated “This is a hold up”. The victim left the scene immediately without sustaining any injuries. The suspect possibly left the scene in a silver four door sedan.

The suspect is described as;

– Caucasian male, slim build, 20-25 yrs. old, brown hair, approximately 5-6 inch long, with a reddish moustache, black jogging pants, grey hoodie, dark rimmed glasses with a French accent and wearing a white-soled skater shoes.

The SD&G OPP Crime Unit is assisting with the investigation.
