The tournament has a special feature this year.

Three elite men’s teams will be playing this year: Lacombe, Ballbroomers and the Ottawa Nationals. See attached schedule for times.

“In the past, we have had over 400 spectators come out to watch this tournament…So anticipate a good crowd!” says Denise Robinson, a Finch Youth Broomball Committee Member.

Robinson also adds, “The origins of broomball has long since been debated.” She further explained that many around this area believe it first originated in Glengarry Township, 1945.
