CHESTERVILLE — This week has been very ‘snowy’ stretch with a total accumulation of over 30 cm or more in certain regions. Although the plows have been out and continue to clear away snow from roads and roadsides motorists must take extra caution when pulling out.

A very large snowbank was seen this morning by Nation Valley News on the southwest corner of Highway 43 and County Rd. 7. This reporter along with many other drivers had to pull nearly into the middle of the highway’s eastbound to view traffic coming from the west.

SDG Counties have been notified and we are now waiting on their response.

Please pay careful attention when pulling out as there maybe be several other intersections with high snowbanks causing poor visibility.
