Ottawa man charged with Fraud after posing as a St. John Ambulance instructor

OTTAWA  — An investigation began in Dec. 2018, following a complaint that a man was accepting money for delivering St. John Ambulance courses despite that fact that he was not qualified to do so nor did he have any affiliation with the organization.

Timothy Poon, 32, of Ottawa was charged, on December 28, with one count of Fraud Under $5000. He appeared in court on January 24.
