Charges laid after North Grenville barn break-in

KEMPTVILLE — Two individuals broke into a barn on Bedell Rd. North Grenville, January 26. Shortly before 3 p.m. North Grenville OPP officers responded to the report of the break-in.

Investigation revealed that two males entered the property and removed items from the building. A local resident, who attempted to intervene, was struck by a vehicle but did not sustain injuries.

Officers arrested and charged 49-year-old Kevin Flinn, of Wolford, with;

  •        Dangerous operation – criminal code section 320.13(1)
  •        Break, enter a place – criminal code section 348(1)(b)
  •        Robbery with violence – criminal code section 344(1)(b)

The male was released on a Promise to Appear and is scheduled to appear in Brockville court on March 1.

Police also say the second male’s ID is known and has been spoken with. No charges forthcoming as of yet.
