NDDHS snow week left extra time for studying and even a pancake breakfast with teachers

Last week was hardly a school week, with snow days Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday, the majority of students only had to attend school on Friday, Jan. 25. The exam that was supposed to take place on Thurs. Jan. 24, was postponed until Wed., Jan. 30. Not all students had dull days studying at home on the four snow-days, many ended up coming to school and working with their teachers or getting extra help. Or, if you are Mr. Bougie and Mr. Whitton, you threw a pancake breakfast for the students that showed up!

This week, we wrapped up exams and are preparing for the new semester. The new semester will start Fri., February 1, and we want the Devils to celebrate the new semester by wearing Devils Pride!

Wear your ND apparel, and if you don’t have any, wear blue and white! Any Grade 12s who haven’t picked up their graduation photos, make sure you stop by the office to get them!

Also, I would like to apologize for any confusion with the Period 1 exam being moved to today.

In the last article, I said all exams would be push back a day, since this is what our teachers have been telling us. The school board decided to take a different route and completely move the first period exam, which they announced Thursday morning. I am sorry for any confusion that may have caused, the weather has been unpredictable, and it was seemingly a last minute decision.
