Two individuals charged with second-degree murder in case of missing Susan Kuplu

OTTAWA— Ottawa Police have charged 18-year-old Lennese Kuplu and 28-year-old Dwight Brown with second degree murder and indignity to a dead human body in relation to the homicide of Susan Kuplu.

CBC News reports that Lennese Kuplu is the daughter of the deceased. The Ottawa woman was in show cause court on Saturday morning.

Brown was charged Sunday with second-degree murder as well as indignity to a dead body in relation to the Susan Kuplu homicide.

Susan Kuplu’s disappearance became a homicide investigation with her daughter’s arrest on Saturday. The 37-year-old victim was last seen January 11.
