RUSSELL — Elizabeth Ferguson was lucky to the tune of $2,183 in the Kin Club of Russell’s ongoing Catch the Ace lottery, Jan. 27. However, Ferguson’s #5 pick held the 4 of Clubs, so the quest for a jackpot winner continues.
That jackpot is now anticipated to exceed $26,000, should next week’s winner draw the Ace of Spades.
Below, the draw on Sunday, Jan. 27.
Contact the Kin Club of Russell through Doug Anthonykindoug27@gmail.com or Victoria’s Quilts representative Marie Claire Ivanski eugene.ivanski@rogers.com to buy tickets, which can be paid for through e-transfer. At $5 each, ticket proceeds will go to youth sports equipment, Cystic Fibrosis Canada and to Victoria’s Quilts a wonderful organization helping those diagnosed with a cancer diagnosis by providing them with the gift of a wonderful comforting quilt.
The Kin Club of Russell says it thanks all those involved with the sale of tickets as well as the “good people of the Embrun/Russell and surrounding communities for their generous support.”
Tickets are also available at Russell Foodland, Pierre & Fils and Etienne Brule Brewery. The live draw takes place 3:15 p.m. every Sunday at Etienne Brule — also streamed on Facebook on the Kin Club of Russell page.
