NORTH DUNDAS — A North Dundas man has been charged with assaulting, sexually assaulting, threatening and forcibly confining his ex-wife.
The incidents took place “in the recent past,” according to the SD&G OPP, which concluded its investigation yesterday into a domestic situation occurring in North Dundas. Police say the accused — who is 34 years old — also damaged property.
He faces five counts of assault and two counts of forcible confinement, plus single counts of sexual assault, uttering threats and mischief.
He’s scheduled to make a bail appearance today in Cornwall court.
Assault charge after South Stormont domestic
SOUTH STORMONT — A 50-year-old man is accused of assaulting his common law wife during a domestic incident in South Stormont.
Police arrested him after responding to the address around 2:20 p.m. on Jan. 28.
Charged with assault, he was released to appear Feb. 28 in Cornwall court.
Mischief charge after South Dundas domestic
SOUTH DUNDAS — A 43-year-old man South Dundas man is charged with two counts of mischief.
Police say he damaged property at a family home. SD&G OPP officers arrested him after responding to the address in the municipality around 4:30 p.m. yesterday.
The accused was released to appear Feb. 19 in Cornwall court.
