Firearms, percocets, and hydromorphone pills found during search warrant execution in Russell

RUSSELL — A number of firearms, ammunition, and a small quantity of Percocet (oxycodone) and Hydromorphone pills from the residence during a search warrant execution by the in Russell Township, Feb. 13.

Members of the Organized Crime Enforcement Bureau – Community Street Crime Unit (CSCU) arrested and charged Celine Onat, 26, of Russell with the assistance of the Tactics and Rescue Unit.

She was arrested and charged with:

  • Possession of a substance in Schedule 1 (Percocet) C.D.S.A. Section 4(1)
  • Possession of a substance in Schedule 1 (Hydromorphone) C.D.S.A Section 4(1)
  • Four counts of Unauthorized Possession of a Firearm – CC 91(1)  
  • Four counts of Careless Storage of Firearm, Weapon, Prohibited Device or Ammunition – CC 86(1)  

The accused was released on a Promise to Appear and is scheduled to appear in L’Orignal court on March 6.

The investigation is continuing, one arrest is still pending. The OPP have no concerns for public safety at this time.

Update: 

On February 14, Thomas Boyce, 25, of Russell, was arrested and charged with the following:

  • Possession of a substance in Schedule 1 (Percocet) C.D.S.A. Section 4(1)
  • Possession of a substance in Schedule 1 (Hydromorphone) C.D.S.A Section 4(1)
  • Four counts of Unauthorized Possession of a Firearm – CC 91(1)
  • Four counts of Careless Storage of Firearm, Weapon, Prohibited Device or Ammunition – CC 86(1)

Boyce is also schedule to appear in court on March 6.
