Beate Stewart celebrates 24 years of volunteer service to Seniors Diners

CHESTERVILLE — The Rotary Club of Chesterville continues to serve their community. Through many community events they managed to raise money for the Nor-Dun Senior’s Support Centre in Winchester once again. Yesterday Rotary Club member Beate Stewart presented a cheque for $1000 to Program Coordinator Susan Bradley and Supervisor Caroline Rooney of the Nor-Dun Centre during the weekly Seniors Diners event at the Nelson La Prade Centre in Chesterville.

Rooney could not speak enough about that gratitude she had for the Rotary Club about their many years of service to the community and their continuing generous donations to the Seniors Centre.

“Thank you so much for your generosity. It will help the centre out so much!” she said.

Stewart told Rooney that the donation was to be used within the Township of North Dundas.

This is Stewart’s 24th serving as a volunteer for the Seniors Diners. Congratulations Beate and sincere thanks for your many years of community service!
