INGLESIDE — A Morrisburg woman is accused of robbing an Ingleside convenience store.
The incident occurred shortly before 6 a.m., March 8, when a female entered the establishment and demanded cigarettes, fleeing the scene with a quantity of tobacco products.
No injuries resulted.
The SD&G OPP located the suspect in the area, arresting Kaitlyn Richardson, 27, of Morrisburg. The accused is charged with: robbery with theft; possession of a controlled substance (cocaine); and resisting a peace officer.
She was released to appear April 9 in Cornwall Court.
Stolen car recovered, female arrested
NORTH GLENGARRY — SD&G OPP officers arrested a woman driving a stolen car from Casselman, Ontario. Officers stopped her March 9 on McDonell Road, North Glengarry, seizing a 2003 Acura TSX.
Police say North Glengarry resident Vanessa Buss, 24, was arrested and charged with possession of property obtained by crime over $5,000.
Buss was released to appear April 3 in Cornwall court.
