Snow drifts, cold temperatures this morning as winter hangs on

CHESTERVILLE — Residents woke up to a winter wonderland and below freezing temperatures this morning. Windy conditions overnight whipped up the existing snow pack into wintery fresh drifts, bolstered by a few more inches of the white stuff that fell overnight as well.

Environment Canada is calling for a 60 percent chance of more flurries tomorrow.

Spring officially arrived on the evening of March 20.
