WILLIAMSBURG — The Williamsburg Fellows recently held their spring Surf and Turf fundraising dinner where they raised $4,300. The proceeds were donated to the Williamsburg Non Profit Housing Corporation.

Odd Fellows Secretary Laurie Lazenby explained that “the money is to be used where needed.”

The groups met at the J. W. MacIntosh Seniors’ Support Centre for the presentation on Wednesday, April 10.

One of the Odd Fellows longest members, Caryl Cooper, was present.

Lazenby thought it was very important that he was there to represent the Independent Order of Odd Fellows (I.O.O.F), or as she calls them the “Odd Squad.”

“This is Caryl’s 71st year with the Odd Fellows. He will be 90 this coming August!” said the organization’s Secretary.
