Male causes damage to several homes  

MORRISBURG — SDG OPP were summoned to a report of a male causing a disturbance on Victoria Park Crescent in Morrisburg on April 17, shortly after 11 p.m. Investigation revealed that a male had caused damage to several homes in the area and entered them unlawfully.

Jeremy Welsh, 21, of North Dundas, was arrested and is charged with;

– Two counts of mischief

– Unlawfully in a dwelling house

– Failure to comply with the conditions of a probation order

He was released and is scheduled to appear in Morrisburg court on May 7.

Super Speeders

SD&G – On April 15-16, 2019,  Ontario Provincial Police officers conducted speed measuring enforcement in SD&G April 15 and 16. They intercepted the following vehicles for traveling at excessive speeds. The vehicles were impounded and their driver’s permits seized for seven days in accordance to policy and were charged with Stunt Driving (Highway Traffic Act).

NORTH DUNDAS —  On April 15, 9:45 p.m. a 23-year-old male from South Dundas was stopped traveling 151km/h in an 80km/h zone on Hwy. 43.

SOUTH DUNDAS — On April 16, 12:27pm a 31-year-old female from Toronto was clocked travelling 155km/hr  in a 100km/hr zone on Hwy. 401.
