SOUTH DUNDAS — The Municipality of South Dundas’ Community Improvement Plan (CIP) Program is now accepting applications. South Dundas staff will be present at the South Dundas Chamber of Commerce Spring Home and Tradeshow held at the Morrisburg Arena on April 26 and April 27 to meet face-to-face to discuss the program with Commercial Building owners. Staff from the United Counties of SDG will also be on hand at the tradeshow to discuss the Regional Incentive Plan. The deadline for applications to the South Dundas CIP Program is May 31, at 3 p.m.

This community initiative program works towards improving the existing commercial industry. It offers eligible applicants an opportunity to access funding (grants and/or loans) to improve commercial buildings that are located in South Dundas. “The CIP program works towards stimulating private investment and improving our business community,” said Rob Hunter, Economic Development Officer.

Recently, Morrisburg Physiotherapy were successful applicants of the CIP program and received funds for new signage and interior renovations.

Full program guidelines, details and applications can be found on the Municipality’s website in the Business Section under the Community Improvement Plan Tab.
