WINCHESTER — Their motto is ‘helping others’ and for 20 years, the Provincial Grand Black Chapter of Eastern Ontario has made an annual donation to Dialysis Units in local communities where its meetings are held. This year, the Chapter presented a cheque for $1,000 for the Dialysis Unit at Winchester District Memorial Hospital.

“We are proud to make this annual donation,” notes John Arksey, Grand Master of the Grand Black Chapter of Eastern Ontario.

“Since 2002, the Provincial Grand Black Chapter has donated a total of $7,500 and we are very grateful,” adds Cindy Peters, Manager of Direct Mail & Events.

The Provincial Grand Black Chapter of Eastern Ontario is part of The Loyal Orange Association. Money is raised through the ‘Dimes for Dialysis’ program. In the last 18 years, they have raised close to $40,000 for Dialysis Units across Ontario East.

“We are so grateful that dialysis patients at WDMH can benefit from this generous donation,” says Cindy. “The Provincial Grand Black Chapter of Eastern Ontario is truly living up to its motto of helping others. Thank you!”
