Martin David Wheeler
July 5, 1959 – April 29, 2019

Martin passed peacefully at the Cornwall Hospice, surrounded by his loving family following a courageous battle with cancer at the age of 59. Beloved son of Betty Wheeler (nee Elliott) of Finch and the late Desmond (May 1, 2002). Dear brother of Leonard of Chesterville, Ronnie (Penny) of Chesterville, Kevin of Iroquois, Donnie (Martha) of Chesterville, Creig (April) of Chesterville, Gordon (Marilyn) of Chesterville, Marilyn Miller (Russell) of Strathroy and Vicki McNalty (Jamie) of Finch. Loved dearly by his many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Martin also leaves behind his cherished Aunt, Cathy Wheeler and his Godchildren, Garrett Miller and Samantha Arsenault. He was predeceased by his nephew Jole McNalty (March 6, 2017). Martin was a dedicated, hard-working man who lived life to the fullest, was an inspiration to everyone he met and will be missed by all.

Funeral Arrangements

Friends may call at the Marsden and McLaughlin Funeral Home, Chesterville, on Friday, May 10, from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Mary of the Presentation Catholic Church in Chesterville on Saturday, May 11, 2019 at 1 p.m. A reception will follow at the Royal Canadian Legion in Chesterville. Donations to the Cornwall Hospice would be gratefully acknowledged by the family.
