WINCHESTER — If you’re a North Dundas resident, it should have been in your mailbox by now — or maybe you picked one up at the April 27th Local Business Expo in Winchester.
North Dundas Township’s released its second official semi-annual Spring/Summer Resource Guide magazine — Live. Work. Play. Explore North Dundas — in the lead-up to the Expo.
In full colour through 32 satin pages, the 2019 edition celebrates and profiles several local businesses run by women as part of a multi-part feature, Rural Business Revitalization: Women Leading the Way. See a copy to learn about these entrepreneurs in industries ranging fromtransportation to fashion to farm equipment sales and to the restaurant and service economy.
You will also find profiles on businesses and institutions making their mark as ‘Agricultural Innovators’ in that ever-important sector of the township economy.
Of course, the publication contains reams of useful information concerning things like hazardous waste days, burn permits and a variety of other public service matters the township wants to keep top of mind, along with at smorgasbord of recreational activities being organized for the upcoming season at municipal facilities.
Contributors to the publication include the Nation Valley News team, photographer Gina Dragone and Graphic Designer Susan Marriner of Marriner Design. Winchester Print put the final product to paper. In keeping with contemporary times, the magazine also exists for perusal online: And those virtual pages are even optimized to properly interact with your device or computer. Read it here.
