Parmalat ponies up $1,500 for Meet Me on Main Street in North Dundas

Street party series set for July 3, July 10, July 17 and July 24th

WINCHESTER — Parmalat has pumped some ‘cheddar’ into this year’s upcoming ‘Meet Me on Main Street’ event series in North Dundas.

Known locally for its Winchester plant — the largest cheese factory in the country — the multinational corporation recently turned over a $1,500 donation to the township endeavour.

North Dundas will host the third annual Meet Me on Main Street in a different community each Wednesday evening this July — Morewood on July 3rd, South Mountain on July 10th, Hallville on July 17th, Chesterville on July 24th and Winchester onJuly 31st .

Residents are encouraged to join council and neighbours to enjoy local food, drinks, entertainment and fun for the whole family on one or more of these occasions. Meet Me on Main Street sees a section of each village’s main drag closed to motorized traffic to accommodate the outdoor partygoers.
