Two males injured after car collides with tractor trailer on Hwy 2, Morrisburg

SOUTH DUNDAS — A two vehicle collision occurred on County Road 2 in Morrisburg, May 14, shortly after 3 p.m. Preliminary Investigation has indicated that a passenger vehicle was travelling eastbound on County Road 2, when for reasons still under investigation entered into the westbound lane and collided head on with a westbound tractor trailer.

The male driver of the passenger vehicle was transported to the hospital with serious non-life threatening injuries.

The male driver of the tractor trailer was transported to hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

A section of County Rd 2. at Upper Canada Rd. and Morrison Rd. was closed to traffic.

SD&G OPP, assisted by OPP Traffic Collision Investigators (TCI) continue to investigate.
