SOUTH DUNDAS — A man has been charged in connection to two lawn tractors that were stolen from a business on County Road 2, South Dundas on March 23.
Police investigation indicated that sometime overnight (between 12 a.m.- 2 a.m.) unknown individuals attended a business and removed a 2019 Husqvarna orange lawn tractor, shortly thereafter another theft occurred at the same business where a 2018 Yardworks lawn tractor and 2 Utility Trailers (2019 Stirling 60-084- silver and black 2018 Prairie view 61-10) were removed. Further investigation revealed 6 bicycles were removed as well.
SD&G OPP Community Street crime Unit members arrested a male, on May 15, in connection with the thefts following their investigation.
Thomas Feese, 35, of South Dundas, was arrested and is charged with;
– Theft over $5000
– Theft Under $5000
He was held in custody pending a court appearance at the in Cornwall court.
An investigation continues.
Domestic Assault with a Weapon
SOUTH DUNDAS — An adult male assaulted his girlfriend during a domestic dispute shortly after 6 p.m. on May 15.
SD&G OPP officers responded to a report of domestic situation in South Dundas. Investigation revealed that an adult male had assaulted his girlfriend with a weapon and threatened her on multiple occasions. The male also assaulted her on several other occasions over the past months. The male was also in contravention of previous release conditions.
The female victim was transported to hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
A 25-year-old male of Prescott, was arrested and is charged with;
– Seven counts of Assault
– Four counts of Assault with a weapon
– Two counts of Uttering Threats
– Two counts of Overcoming resistance by attempting to choke, suffocate and strangle another person
– Two counts of Assault Causing bodily harm
– Two counts of Forcible confinement
– Nine counts of Failure to comply with conditions of a Probation Order
He was held in custody and is scheduled to appear at the in Cornwall court.
