SOUTH MOUNTAIN — The fourth annual Ladies Night hosted by the North Dundas Station 2 Auxiliary, was held on April 27, at the Agricultural Hall in South Mountain. The special guest and emcee for the evening was Eric Duncan.

It was another great event. More than 200 women from the community and surrounding areas came out to Mountain Township Agricultural Hall to support our local Fire Department. The evening included dinner, dancing, a live and silent auction; as well as, entertainment provided by our very own North Dundas Station 2 Fire Fighters. Mardi Gras was the theme of the night and the sea of beads, feathers and colours demonstrated the engagement and enthusiasm of the attendees. The committee would like to take this opportunity to offer their sincerest thanks to everyone who contributed their time and services to the event as well as the 60-plus businesses that donated items for their silent auction.

Pictures from the event and a detailed list of all donors can be found on the NDFD Station 2 Auxiliary Facebook Page. Lastly, they would like to thank all the wonderful women that attended the event and helped to ensure its success; an astounding $8,500 was raised in Support of the North Dundas Station 2 Fire Department.
